Product Overview: The DME DSS-15-11 Smart Start is a microprocessor-based process temperature controller designed for industrial heating applications. It accepts thermocouple inputs (Type J, K, T, etc.) and provides relay or solid-state outputs to control heating elements or contactors. Commonly used in paper processing, plastics manufacturing, and packaging equipment, it features digital setpoint adjustment, analog or digital display, and anti-arc protection to prevent relay contact welding. The unit operates on 120V or 240V AC power depending on configuration and includes alarm outputs for over-temperature conditions.
