Product Overview: The Electro-Matic Products Minatron II is an industrial electromagnetic chuck controller designed to operate and regulate magnetic workholding chucks used on surface grinders and other metalworking machinery. The Minatron II provides adjustable magnetic holding power from 0–100%, allowing the operator to vary chuck strength to suit the workpiece and machining operation. The front-panel ON and RLSE (Release) controls provide chuck energization and workpiece release/demagnetizing functions, while the up/down controls adjust the magnetic power level. A bar-graph display gives the operator a visual indication of the selected chuck power. Commonly used on surface grinders and other precision machine tools requiring reliable magnetic clamping.
