Common Failures
Customers have reported issues with the control system being non-responsive and touchscreen functionality where the cursor remains static in the middle of the screen.
Repair Approach
The non-responsive control system was addressed by replacing certain internal components such as batteries and fans, followed by cleaning and diagnostic testing. For the touchscreen issue, a previous repair left a cable improperly connected. By re-seating the touchscreen cable and replacing some capacitors, the touchscreen functionality was restored. However, to fully verify the boot process, the appropriate CF card would be required.
Testing & Quality
Repair efforts included diagnostic testing and a Burn-In Test without load. Evaluated units passed diagnostic testing after repairs, although further testing could not be completed without the correct CF card for boot verification.
