Product Overview: The HOP Link Spread Spectrum Transceiver is a wireless communication module used in industrial control systems to transmit data between remote equipment and control panels. Manufactured by Omnex, it employs spread spectrum technology for reliable signal transmission in environments with potential interference. Commonly found in concrete pumping equipment and other mobile or distributed control applications, it enables operator interface panels to communicate wirelessly with machinery at distances where hardwired connections are impractical. The unit includes drive circuitry that requires specific system conditions to be satisfied before powering on.
