080-### Logic and Function Modules

The 080-### Logic and Function Modules series is a family of plug-in control cards and modules manufactured by SCI (some also produced under the Honeywell brand). These boards provide the discrete logic, timing, signal conditioning, and output switching functions used within industrial machine control systems. The series is widely used in paper processing equipment, plastic injection molding machines, packaging machinery, and other automated manufacturing systems.

Types of Modules in the Series

The family spans a broad range of dedicated single-function cards, including:

• Logic cards — AND, OR, HEX, gate expander, shift register, and retentive memory modules performing Boolean and sequencing operations
• Output modules — quad AC, triac, and solid-state relay output cards for switching solenoids, lamps, contactors, and other actuators
• Input and multiplexer cards — quad AC/DC input cards and 16-input analog multiplexers
• Timing modules — dual and quad time-delay boards with adjustable ranges
• Signal conditioning — thermocouple, RTD, strain gauge, comparator, and peak detector modules
• Analog and drive modules — quad potentiometer cards, current sources, servo valve driver amplifiers, and counters

Products are identified by an 080- prefix and part number, often with revision and dash-number variants that specify ratings such as resistance value, voltage, or timing range.
