100/101/102 Digital Readout
The 100/101/102 Digital Readout series comprises digital readout (DRO) systems manufactured primarily by Southwestern Industries under the TRAK product line. These units display real-time position data from linear scales and encoders mounted on machine tool axes, providing operators with precise positioning feedback during machining operations.
The series spans single-axis, two-axis, and three-axis configurations to suit a range of applications. Common end equipment includes manual milling machines, lathes, and grinders, where the readouts show X, Y, and Z coordinates in inches or millimeters. Typical features across the family include a front-panel numeric display, a keypad interface for axis selection and function entry, and a zero-reference function for establishing datum points.
