18E Power Control
The 18E Power Control series from Payne Engineering is a family of SCR-based solid state power controllers used to regulate AC power delivered to industrial loads. These units use silicon-controlled rectifiers to provide proportional control of voltage to resistive and inductive loads such as heating elements, transformers, and motor control systems.
The series includes both single-phase and three-phase models with input ratings ranging from 240VAC to 460VAC, and output current capacities spanning from 20 amps up to 600 amps. Many units accept either a manual potentiometer setting or an external analog control signal, making them suitable for a range of industrial process applications.
