4000A Series Digital Controller

Overview

The 4000A Series is a family of 1/4 DIN digital temperature controllers manufactured by Omega. These panel-mount instruments monitor and regulate process temperature using thermocouple inputs, with the 4001A and 4002A models accepting J-type or K-type thermocouples.

The series covers a range of temperature spans across both Fahrenheit and Celsius scales, including ranges such as 0–999°F, 0–1999°F, 0–500°C, and 0–999°C. Individual models are configured for a specific thermocouple type and range. The series also includes related Athena 4200-series temperature controls.

Applications

These controllers are used in industrial process control where accurate temperature regulation is required, including paper manufacturing and other temperature-critical operations. Their standard 1/4 DIN format allows straightforward panel mounting in a wide variety of end equipment.
