503 Series Analog Meters
The 503 Series Analog Meters are a family of panel-mounted analog meters and readouts manufactured primarily by LFE, with additional units from API. These devices display process variables using analog movements, covering ranges such as 0–150 percent load, temperature scales, and DC amperage.
The series includes standard indicating meters as well as units equipped with single and dual setpoints for control applications. Several models function as part of the Compack I platform, including DC ampere meters and temperature control units.
Common Configurations
- Load/percentage meters — 0–150 percent analog indicators (0503X, 0503XU, 503X, 503XU)
- Temperature meters — including 0–800°F (J-type) and 0–300°F RTD panel meters
- Setpoint meters — single and dual setpoint models for process monitoring and control
- Compack I units — DC ampere and temperature control modules
These meters are used for monitoring and displaying process values in industrial panel and control equipment.
