DCS Series Power Supply Overview

The DCS Series from Sorensen is a family of adjustable DC power supplies rated at 3kW. Each unit provides continuously variable output over its full voltage and current range, allowing the same 3kW capacity to be delivered across a wide selection of voltage/current combinations.

The series spans low-voltage, high-current models such as the DCS8-350 (0–8VDC, 0–350A) and DCS12-250 (0–12VDC, 0–250A) through higher-voltage, lower-current models including the DCS80-37 (0–80VDC, 0–37A) and DCS150-20 (0–150VDC, 0–20A). Intermediate ratings such as the DCS20-150, DCS40-75, DCS55-55, and DCS60-50 fill out the range.

This variety lets users match a DCS supply to the specific output requirements of their application while retaining a common 3kW power class.
