DTAM Plus
The DTAM Plus series is a family of compact operator interface terminals, primarily from Allen Bradley under the 2707 product line, with one product from Spectrum Controls. These panel-mounted terminals provide machine-level control and monitoring, combining an LCD display and a membrane keypad for operator data entry and display of process information.
The series connects to programmable logic controllers and other industrial automation equipment through serial communications. It includes DTAM Micro modules offered in both RS-232 and RS-485 variants, alongside the broader DTAM Plus operator interface units. The range covers multiple hardware revisions and configuration options, giving flexibility for replacement across a variety of installed equipment.
Typical Applications
These operator interfaces are commonly used in machine control and monitoring roles, such as packaging machinery and other industrial automation systems where a compact keypad-and-display terminal is mounted at the machine.
