EA5X Series Temperature Controller

The EA5X Series comprises 1/4 DIN digital temperature controllers manufactured by Omron, with a number of units also branded and marketed under the AEC designation. These microprocessor-based controllers provide precise temperature sensing and regulation for industrial heating and cooling processes. Most units feature a dual-display interface for simultaneous viewing of process value and setpoint, and accept standard thermocouple inputs such as Type K, displaying readings in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

The series covers a range of model variants — including standard, alarm-equipped, and communications-enabled configurations — that output control signals to heaters and other actuators. Common applications include plastic molding equipment and other processes requiring accurate thermal management.
