FR-A500 Inverter
The Mitsubishi FR-A500 series is a family of variable frequency drives (AC motor controls) used to control the speed and torque of three-phase AC motors in industrial equipment. This series brings together drives across a broad power range, from fractional-horsepower units up to 50 HP.
The FR-A500 range is organized into two primary voltage classes:
- FR-A520 — 230V AC drives, spanning 0.5 HP through 50 HP.
- FR-A540 — 460V AC drives, including three-phase 380–480 VAC models operating from 0.2 to 400 Hz.
Within each class, multiple variants exist to suit different requirements, including models with integrated filters and region-specific configurations. All units in this series are manufactured by Mitsubishi and serve as inverters for adjustable-speed motor applications.
