M Series Soft Start

The M Series Soft Start family from Baldor Electric comprises motor control devices designed to gradually ramp up voltage to an AC motor during startup. Soft starters reduce mechanical stress and limit inrush current when bringing motors up to speed, helping protect connected equipment and the power supply.

This series spans a range of current ratings, from smaller units such as the 30A model up to larger devices rated at 250A, covering a variety of motor sizes and applications. Models are grouped across the MA7, MA8, MB7, and MD7 designations.
