MIC 6000 Process Control
The MIC 6000 Process Control series is a family of microprocessor-based single-loop temperature controllers used for precise thermal regulation in industrial process automation. These 1/4 DIN units accept thermocouple inputs (commonly Type J) and RTD inputs, and provide control outputs such as relay, SSR drive, and 4-20 mA analog for heating, cooling, valves, and other final control elements. Typical features include a digital display, membrane keypad interface, programmable setpoints, PID control, and cold junction compensation.
The series is primarily manufactured by Partlow, with related controllers offered by Blue M Electric and Despatch Industries. The Blue M and Despatch units — including the Pro-Master I models — extend the platform to thermal chambers, environmental test equipment, and industrial ovens and furnaces, adding multi-segment programmable recipes for automated heating profiles.
Common Applications
- Paper processing and paper mills
- Plastics processing
- Food production
- Industrial ovens, furnaces, and thermal processing equipment
- Environmental test chambers
The series spans a range of model configurations built on the common 6000 Process Control base, covering standard single-loop process controllers and programmable variants for automated thermal cycles.
