Modicon Quantum 140 PLC
The Modicon Quantum 140 PLC series is a family of modular programmable logic controller components manufactured by Schneider Electric. Built around the Quantum 140 platform, these products combine to form complete rack-based control systems for industrial automation applications.
The series spans the core building blocks of a Quantum system, including processors, power supplies, I/O modules, backplanes, and interconnect cabling. Many modules are available in both standard and conformal-coated (CC) variants for use in harsher operating environments.
Products in This Series
- Processors: CPUs and controllers, including Pentium-based and Hot Standby models.
- Power supplies: 115/230 VAC Quantum power supply modules.
- Discrete I/O: AC and DC input and output modules and relay output modules.
- Analog I/O: analog input and output modules and thermocouple input modules.
- Communications: Ethernet (NOE) modules and Remote I/O (RIO) head and drop adapters.
