Pathfinder 50 DRO

The Pathfinder 50 DRO series from Teledyne Gurley is a family of digital readout (DRO) components used for precise linear position measurement and display on machine tools. The series pairs linear slide encoders with multi-axis digital readout units to provide accurate position feedback and control.

Products in This Series

The series includes two main product types:

• Linear slide encoders — 18-inch slide encoders that output quadrature signals to track position along an axis (models 8781 and 8781-2).
• Digital readout units — X-Y and X-Y-Z axis readouts that display measured position (models 8772-2 and 8772-3).

Applications

These devices are commonly used together in DRO systems on milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools where accurate linear position tracking across one or more axes is required.
