PLC-2 Series
The PLC-2 Series is a family of Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers and related components built around the 1772 product line. The series is used for industrial machine and process automation, providing programmable control across a range of end equipment.
The series is predominantly made up of PLC processors and modules, complemented by power supplies and control modules. It spans a broad set of configurations, from compact Mini-PLC-2 processors (such as the 2/02, 2/05, 2/15, 2/16 and 2/17 variants) to the larger PLC-2/20 and PLC-2/30 processors, available both with and without integrated power supplies.
Components in the Series
- Processors — Mini-PLC-2 and PLC-2/20 and 2/30 processor modules in numerous memory configurations.
- Memory modules and boards — including core memory, RAM memory modules, and memory boards ranging up to 16K, offered in multiple memory-segment options.
- Power supplies — 1772-P1 and 1772-PA series power supplies supporting the processor modules.
- Control modules — supporting memory and control functions within the platform.
All products in this series are manufactured by Allen Bradley under the 1772 catalog designation.
