PLC-5 Series 1771 and 1785

The PLC-5 Series from Allen-Bradley brings together the 1785 processors and the 1771 I/O platform that form the backbone of PLC-5 programmable logic controller systems. These products are widely used across industrial automation applications for machine and process control, driving field devices such as solenoids, motor starters, indicator lights, and analog instrumentation.

The 1785 line covers the PLC-5 processor range — including the 5/10, 5/15, 5/20, 5/40, 5/60, and 5/80 controllers, plus variants with Ethernet and VME options. The 1771 line supplies the surrounding I/O and support hardware that mounts in PLC-5 chassis.
