PYX series

The PYX series is a family of panel-mount temperature controllers, primarily manufactured by Fuji Electric, with an additional unit from Thermolyne Corporation. These controllers provide precise temperature regulation for industrial process applications.

The series spans multiple form factors and feature sets, including 1/16 DIN fuzzy logic controllers, 1/8 DIN dual display models, and ramp/dwell programmable controllers. Fuzzy logic models use control algorithms intended to improve process stability and reduce overshoot, while dual display units show process and setpoint values simultaneously. Programmable ramp/dwell versions support multi-step temperature profiles.

Common applications include industrial heating systems, ovens, furnaces, plastics processing equipment, and food processing machinery.
