Quantum III DC Drive
The Quantum III series is a family of digital DC motor drives from Control Techniques (also branded Emerson). These drives control DC motor speed and torque by regulating armature and field voltage, using microprocessor-based digital regulation for precise performance.
The series includes both non-regenerative and regenerative models across a range of horsepower ratings, from roughly 10 HP up to 100 HP. Non-regenerative drives support dual voltage input of 220 or 480VAC, while regenerative models recover energy during motor deceleration or braking and are configurable for armature voltages up to 500VDC.
