S2K Motor Controller Series

The S2K Motor Controller series from GE Fanuc is a family of DSP-based motion control drives for servo and stepper motors used in industrial automation. These controllers provide precise speed and position control for automated machinery, including paper processing equipment.

Product Range

The series is made up primarily of S2K servo controllers, along with a stepping motor controller. Available ratings include:

• 90–250VAC input models rated at 4.3 amp and 7.2 amp output
• 460VAC input models rated at 20 amp output
• A stepping motor controller rated 90–130Vrms at 10 amp output

Carrying IC800SSI and IC800STI part number prefixes, these units integrate power stages such as three-phase bridge rectifiers, bus capacitors, and IGBT output modules, along with brake control. Many models offer DeviceNet and serial communications for system integration.
