Scientific Columbus Transducers

The Scientific Columbus Transducers series brings together a family of electrical measurement transducers manufactured by Scientific Columbus. These devices measure AC power parameters and convert them into proportional analog output signals for monitoring and control. Common measurements include real power (watts), reactive power (VARs), AC frequency, three-phase current, and AC voltage.

The series spans several product lines, including the Exceltronic AC Frequency Transducers (6281–6284 range), the Exceltronic and Exceltronic II Watt/Var transducers, the XLP and XLPWV Watt/Var transducer modules, the XP and XLP voltage and variable transducers, and three-phase current transducers.

Typical Applications

Products in this series are used in industrial power monitoring and distribution systems, motor control, process measurement, and end equipment such as HVAC compressors and paper manufacturing machinery, where accurate power, frequency, and phase measurement is required.
