SCS Sync Encoders

The SCS Sync Encoders series from Emerson is a family of high-resolution quadrature encoders that convert rotary shaft position into electrical signals for speed and position feedback in industrial motion control systems. Each unit provides A and B channel outputs phase-shifted 90 degrees, along with a marker pulse for indexing.

The series spans a range of resolutions, from 1000 lines (4000 PPR) through 2500 lines (10000 PPR) up to 3000 lines (12000 PPR) in quadrature mode. Higher-resolution models are commonly applied in paper industry equipment requiring precise speed and position feedback.
