SMC Dialog Plus Solid State Controller

The SMC Dialog Plus Solid State Controller series consists of Allen Bradley solid state motor controls from the 150-B product line. These units provide electronic soft-start and motor control functions for three-phase AC motors, using solid state switching in place of conventional electromechanical starting methods.

The series spans a broad range of current ratings, from 24A units suited to smaller motors up to 500A controllers for larger loads. Intermediate ratings including 97A, 135A, 180A, 240A, and 360A are also represented, allowing selection according to motor size and application requirements.

Applications

As industrial motor controls, these controllers are used to manage the starting and running of AC motors in industrial equipment. The range of available current ratings makes the series applicable across a variety of motor sizes and installations.
