SYSMAC-C20

The SYSMAC-C20 series is a family of compact programmable logic controllers (PLCs) manufactured by Omron, with select modules also produced by CEMCO, Inc. Designed for small to mid-sized industrial automation and control applications, these systems execute ladder logic programs and manage discrete I/O operations. Common end equipment includes elevator control systems, manufacturing and assembly lines, packaging machinery, material handling systems, and paper processing equipment.

Products in This Series

The series covers the core modules needed to build and expand a C20 control system:

• CPU modules — central processing units available in 120VAC, 240VAC, and 24VDC power variants, providing integrated I/O control and battery-backed or EEPROM/EPROM program memory.
• Elevator controller CPUs — versions configured specifically for elevator motion control, floor positioning, door operation, and safety interlocks.
• Expansion I/O units — modules that add digital input and output points to C20 base systems for controlling additional field devices.
• Power supply modules — units providing regulated DC power to the C20 base and I/O modules.
• Host Link communication unit — for serial communication with the C20 system.

Modules mount to C20 base units and connect through the C20 backplane for communication with the main CPU.
