Topaz Digital Readout

The Topaz Digital Readout series from Newall Electronics is a family of digital readout (DRO) units for machine tool applications. These readouts provide precision position measurement and display, converting encoder signals into real-time digital position data for machining operations.

The series covers both lathe and mill configurations across a range of axis counts, from single-axis mill units to two- and three-axis versions. Each unit interfaces with Newall Spherosyn inductive encoders for position feedback and offers metric/imperial unit switching along with a membrane keypad for zeroing, calibration, and axis display functions.
