V8 Series Joystick

The V8 Series comprises industrial joystick controllers manufactured by W. Gessmann. These multi-axis control units translate operator lever movement into electrical signals for directional, speed, and machine-function control on mobile and industrial equipment. The series includes both potentiometer-based and proportional variants, with position sensing achieved through potentiometers, Hall effect sensors, or electronic detection depending on the model.

Signaling and communication vary across the range. Many units transmit via CAN bus, while others provide PWM solenoid drive, analog outputs, or RS-232 calibration interfaces. Integrated features commonly include push-button switches, snap-action cam follower microswitches, onboard EEPROMs for configuration storage, and protective rubber bellows or waterproof connections.
