Valve Driver Board
The Valve Driver Board series is a family of valve driver and amplifier cards manufactured primarily by Engel, with additional cards from EGD. These boards drive proportional or solenoid valves in industrial hydraulic control systems, translating control signals into the current outputs needed to actuate the valves.
The series spans several Engel card generations, including the PA88, PA89, and PA96 families, as well as PA88C EGD driver cards. Cards are available in multiple channel configurations to suit different valve counts.
Channel Configurations
- 2 Channel valve driver cards
- 3 Channel valve driver cards, the most common configuration in this series
- 4 Channel valve driver cards
All products in this series share the same core function as valve driver / amplifier cards, making it a useful reference point when identifying a replacement across the Engel PA88, PA89, PA96, and PA88C EGD ranges.
