Product Overview: The IRD Mechanalysis 246 is a portable balancing instrument used for single-plane and two-plane dynamic balancing of rotating machinery. It measures vibration amplitude and phase to determine the location and magnitude of imbalance in motors, fans, pumps, and other rotating equipment. The unit features a 40x2 character LCD display and operates on DC input power with internal DC-DC conversion for display and processing circuits. It works in conjunction with velocity sensors to provide real-time balancing measurements for field service and maintenance applications.
