1769 CompactLogix / Compact I/O PLC

The Allen-Bradley 1769 CompactLogix / Compact I/O series is a modular programmable logic controller platform for industrial automation. It combines CompactLogix controllers with a broad range of Compact I/O modules that mount together on a common chassis to build distributed control systems for manufacturing, material handling, and process control applications.

The series includes CompactLogix 5370 controllers with integrated Ethernet communications and embedded I/O, along with the modules and supporting hardware needed to complete a system.

• Digital input modules — DC and AC discrete inputs for monitoring sensors and field devices (e.g., 1769-IQ16, 1769-IA16).
• Digital output modules — relay and solid-state outputs for switching solenoids, motors, lamps, and alarms (e.g., 1769-OW8, 1769-OW16, 1769-OB16, 1769-OA8, 1769-OA16).
