650 Series DC Drive

The 650 Series from Cleveland Machine Controls is a family of DC motor controls used for variable speed control of DC motors in industrial machinery. The series includes complete DC drives and the control board assemblies that support them.

Drive models cover a range of horsepower ratings, from fractional-horsepower units through 5 HP, including both standard and reversing configurations and 230VAC-rated variants. These thyristor-based drives regulate DC motor speed and torque through adjustable voltage output. The series also contains numerous motor drive control boards and control board assemblies used across the different drive models.

Common Applications

650 Series drives provide variable speed control for industrial equipment requiring adjustable DC motor operation, with features such as adjustable minimum and maximum speed settings and, on select models, direction control for reversing applications.
