6AV7 Series Touch Screen

Overview

The Siemens 6AV7 Series is a family of touch screen operator interfaces and panel PCs designed for human-machine interaction with industrial machines and processes. These units combine touchscreen displays—typically in the 12- to 15-inch range—with operator interface and, in many models, integrated PC functionality for visualization and control.

The series includes Simatic Panel PC and Panel System models such as the PC670, PC 577, and various 12-inch touchscreen panel systems, along with flat panel monitors and LVDS touch terminals. Several units run standard operating environments such as Windows XP Professional.
