CAMAC 486

The CAMAC 486 series is a family of 486-class control products manufactured by Cincinnati Milacron. Built around the CAMAC 486 control architecture, these components form the computational and operator-interface core of Cincinnati Milacron industrial automation systems, including CNC machine tools and plastics processing equipment such as injection molding machines and extrusion systems.

The series includes two main product types:

• CPU Boards (part number 3-533-1033G, including REV C variants) — processor control modules featuring a 486-class microprocessor with 4MB of memory. These boards handle program execution, system coordination, and communication interfaces, with integrated video driver circuitry for operator display output.
• Operator Stations (part number 3-424-2273A, including the 486C variant) — human-machine interface workstations that serve as the primary control and monitoring point for the connected machinery. The 486C features a 9.4-inch 640x480 LCD display with CCFL backlighting.
