Compact Fusion Power Controller

The Compact Fusion Power Controller series from Control Concepts is a family of SCR (silicon-controlled rectifier) power controllers designed for precise regulation of electrical power to resistive heating loads. These units are available in single- and multi-leg configurations spanning current ratings from 25 amps up to 160 amps, with both phase-angle and zero-cross firing modes.

Zero-cross firing switches at the zero-crossing point of the AC waveform to minimize electrical noise and extend load life, while phase-angle control offers fine-grained power adjustment. Several models include communication options such as Ethernet and Ethernet/IP for configuration and monitoring, and the series also includes a dedicated Ethernet/IP communications option assembly.

Compact Fusion controllers are used across industrial heating processes, including heating elements, ovens, and temperature control systems in plastics, packaging, food processing, and paper manufacturing where accurate power regulation is required.
