DP7 DRO Counter

Overview

The DP7 DRO Counter series by Newall Electronics is a family of digital readout (DRO) units used for position measurement and display on machine tools. These readouts interface with linear scales, encoders, or rotary encoders to provide operators with real-time digital position feedback during machining operations.

The series is offered in 2-axis and 3-axis configurations, displaying position data for X and Y (and Z on 3-axis models). Common features across the family include independent per-axis displays, a keypad or membrane keypad for programming and zeroing, and battery backup for position retention during power loss. The units support standard machining functions such as absolute and incremental measurement.
