Series Overview

The EA70 Series is a family of high torque electric actuators originally produced by Barber-Colman, with some units branded under Eurotherm. These actuators convert electrical control signals into rotary mechanical motion for precise positioning of dampers, valves, and control mechanisms in demanding industrial applications.

The series includes the EA71, EA72, EA73, EA74, EA75, and EA76 models. Units are available in 90-degree and 180-degree travel configurations, spanning a range of torque outputs and travel times to suit varied positioning tasks. Common features across the family include integral slidewire potentiometers for position feedback, internal limit switches, and auxiliary contacts for position indication, supporting modulating or two-position control.
