KBMM DC Motor Speed Control

The KBMM DC Motor Speed Control series from KB Electronics is a family of adjustable DC motor speed controls for permanent magnet and shunt-wound DC motors in industrial applications. These compact controls regulate motor speed and torque across a range of horsepower ratings, with models suited to fractional and integral HP motors up to 3 HP.

The series operates from 120 VAC and 240 VAC inputs, with models such as the KBMM-125 covering lower horsepower on 120 VAC and the KBMM-225 and KBMM-225D covering 1.5 to 3 HP. Both chassis-mount and open-frame configurations are represented.

Options and Accessories

The series includes companion boards and enhanced variants that extend functionality:

• Signal isolator option boards (part numbers 9897 and 9444) for isolated signal input.
• Differential amplifier module variants, such as the KBMM-225D/AB4, for accepting external signals.
• Terminal board and signal isolation options integrated into specific configurations.

These controls are used in general industrial equipment, including applications such as packaging and stretch wrapping machinery.
