M72 Modutrol IV Actuators

The M72 Modutrol IV Actuators series comprises Honeywell electric actuators used to modulate dampers, valves, and burner controls in HVAC and combustion applications. These direct-coupled motor actuators provide proportional positioning based on control system signals, translating motor rotation into rotational travel to regulate airflow or fluid flow and maintain temperature or pressure setpoints.

The series includes both standard and spring-return models, with spring-return versions offering fail-safe return on power loss. Units are available in 24V and 120V supply configurations and accept modulating control inputs such as 4–20 mA signals.
