MACO III

The MACO III series is a family of modular industrial control components manufactured by Barber-Colman. These boards and modules make up the MACO III control platform, a card-based process control system used in industrial environments, most commonly in paper manufacturing.

The series covers the full range of cards and assemblies that build a complete MACO III system, allowing individual modules to be identified and serviced by function.

Products in this Series

• Processor cards and motherboards — including processor cards, processor I and II cards, and processor and I/O motherboards that form the control backbone.
• Input and output cards — AC input boards, AC output cards, and DC output cards that interface the controller with external devices such as valves, dampers, actuators, lamps, and relays.
• Timer boards — analog and digital timer boards.
• Power supplies — power supply units and power supply assemblies providing DC voltage rails to the control electronics.
• Support modules — memory cards, set point board, diagnostic module, and programmer.

Some output and input cards are shared across MACO III, IIIB, IV, V, and VI platforms, as reflected in their common part numbers.
