Series Overview

The Marker Servo Motor series brings together servo motor and print head assemblies used in Markem industrial marking and coding systems, such as the Markem 9840 and 9860 platforms. These integrated units combine servo-driven motion control with a print head mechanism to apply date codes, lot numbers, and other variable product information during manufacturing and packaging operations.

Most units pair a servo motor with an encoder for precise rotational positioning and closed-loop position feedback during the marking cycle. The series covers a range of Markem assemblies, including coder-dater control units, along with related hardware such as motor encoder endcaps.
