Micro-VU Q16 Readout

The Micro-VU Q16 Readout series is a family of three-axis digital readout (DRO) systems and related components from Micro-Vu, used for precision dimensional measurement and inspection. These units process position data from encoder inputs and display real-time X, Y, and Z axis coordinates, allowing operators to measure part dimensions with high accuracy. They are commonly used with optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines.

The series includes the base Q16 readout, configurations with edge detection for automated boundary recognition, and versions with the MC-10 controller offering teach control for automated measurement routines. Operator interaction is provided through a membrane keypad interface for zeroing axes, switching between inch and metric units, and performing measurement calculations.
