Millermatic Welders

The Millermatic Welders series comprises control boards and control cards manufactured by Miller Electric for their Millermatic and Multimatic line of wire feed and MIG welding systems. These boards serve as the main control electronics that manage core welding operations, including wire feed motor speed, arc and current regulation, gas solenoid activation, and trigger input processing.

The series spans a range of welder models, including the Millermatic 185, 210, 250, 250X, 250MP, and 350P, as well as the multi-process Multimatic 200. Individual boards handle functions such as PWM-based wire feed control, SCR firing for welding current, voltage regulation across multiple internal DC rails, and gas solenoid switching. Certain models incorporate microprocessor-based control to coordinate MIG, TIG, and stick welding modes with diagnostic feedback.

Common Applications

These control boards are used in industrial and fabrication shop welding equipment, coordinating timing and power delivery between the wire feeder, shielding gas system, and welding output across mid-range and multi-process MIG welders.
