SAC-S Series Servodrive

The SAC-S Series is a family of AC brushless servodrives manufactured by Ormec Systems Corp for precision motion control in industrial applications. These drives provide closed-loop speed and position control for AC servo motors, using IGBT power output stages for motor commutation. Models operate at 230VAC across a range of output current ratings, from roughly 3.8 amps up to approximately 47.5 amps, allowing the series to cover a variety of motor sizes.

SAC-S servodrives are commonly used in paper processing and converting machinery, packaging equipment, and other automated manufacturing systems that require accurate motor positioning.

The series spans multiple frame and current ratings, identified by model designations such as SAC-S03, SAC-S04, SAC-S08, SAC-S12, SAC-S19, SAC-S26, SAC-S33, and SAC-S45, with several variant suffixes. Higher-rated units incorporate features such as gate drive circuitry with hybrid modules and cooling fans for thermal management.
