SR4A/8A Voltage Regulator Series
The SR4A/8A series from Basler Electric is a family of static voltage regulators used to control and stabilize excitation voltage in rotating machinery. These solid-state units employ SCR-based power circuitry to regulate exciter field current, maintaining constant generator output voltage despite variations in load and operating conditions.
The series includes both SR4A and SR8A regulators across a range of configurations, identified by extended part numbers such as SR4A2B01B3A and SR8A2B10A3A. Most units are classified as control assemblies, with static voltage regulator variants also included.
