Tension Control System
The Tension Control System series comprises Warner Electric clutch and brake controls designed to regulate web tension in material handling applications. These closed-loop systems work with a dancer assembly, position sensor, and clutch-brake to maintain consistent tension during processing, using dancer position feedback to output a variable DC control signal.
Built around the Warner Electric MCS-202 platform, the series includes several system variants along with the MCS-202 clutch control PC board. These controls are commonly used in paper, printing, and converting equipment.
