162F Series Joystick
The 162F Series Joystick is a family of multi-axis joystick controllers manufactured by Sauer-Danfoss. These units provide proportional control of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems in mobile equipment and industrial machinery, generating command signals in response to joystick deflection across multiple axes.
Series members use proportional sensors and positional encoders to translate operator input into control signals for functions such as boom extension, bucket curl, and directional movement. Depending on the model, units communicate through connectors such as a 25-pin D-sub or via CAN bus, and may include thumb-operated switches, membrane-style pushbuttons, and directional controls for forward/reverse operation.
Applications
Products in this series are used on a range of construction and industrial equipment, including side-cut mowers and front loaders, where they control hydraulic functions such as boom positioning, loader movement, and roll operations.
