818 Series Temperature/Process Control

The 818 Series from Eurotherm is a family of programmable temperature and process controllers designed for precision thermal management in industrial applications. These controllers use plug-in modules for flexible field customization, supporting multiple program and ramp/dwell configurations in single or dual output channel arrangements. They accept a range of input types—including thermocouples and RTDs—with various linearizations, and are available with outputs such as relay, triac, and 4–20 mA, plus optional serial communications.

The series spans standard controllers, program controllers with multiple programs and ramp/dwell combinations, and a motor valve positioning variant. It is commonly applied in paper processing, plastics manufacturing, packaging equipment, and other temperature-critical operations.
