KBRG Regenerative DC Drive
The KBRG Regenerative DC Drive series from KB Electronics is a family of regenerative DC motor controls designed for permanent magnet and shunt wound DC motors. These drives provide full-wave, four-quadrant operation, enabling precise bidirectional speed control with regenerative braking that returns motor braking energy to the AC line rather than dissipating it as heat.
Models in the series accept 120/240V AC input and cover motor ratings from fractional horsepower up to several horsepower, delivering DC output for control of motor speed and direction. Their four-quadrant capability makes them well suited to applications involving frequent direction changes and dynamic braking, such as reversing conveyors, winders, cranes, and hoists.
