The MC1000 Series is a family of AC variable frequency drives manufactured primarily by AC Technology, with additional units carried under Leeson Electric, Lenze, and Teco-Westinghouse. These drives control the speed and torque of three-phase AC induction motors by converting fixed-frequency AC power into variable-frequency, variable-voltage output.
The series spans a broad power range, from fractional-horsepower units up to 60 HP, in both 230VAC and 400/480VAC input configurations. Many models offer intelligent drive features, digital keypad programming, analog speed reference inputs, and IGBT-based power electronics with integrated protection. Optional accessories such as remote keypads and dynamic braking boards extend the series.
Applications
MC1000 Series drives are used across general industrial machinery, including pumps, fans, and conveyors, as well as paper processing equipment and other applications requiring precise motor speed control.
